Continuity

Okay, in case you belong to the percentage of people who don't own a calendar or aren't sure about it, today is the first day of the new year.

If, however, you are just like the rest of us, and you know what day is today, then why the fuck are you complaining about the weather? It's J A N U A R Y! It's supposed to be cold!!
(unless you live in Australia or something)

This morning I woke up early, had a warm French press, and a healthy breakfast, and took my dog Sehta for a long walk. It was lovely! There were no people on the street, it was 0 degrees Celcius, the morning air was fresh and crispy, and the morning dew was still frozen on the grass.
Talking about a proper January morning. Cold! It was a delight!

And not because I like winter, but because this is how it's supposed to be!
Winter should be crisp and cold, summer should be warm and sunny, autumn should be hazy and humid and spring should be blooming and colorful!

And if you're wondering why I'm saying all this it is because I can't stand people complaining about things like the weather, or time, or aging...
Bro, it's inevitable!

If it's cold, dress better, mate! The fuck you complainin' about?

'ugh, I can't, it's too sunny, too hot, I'm sweating'!! - Ok, STFU! We all boil in the same pot, and you don't make anyone feel better when you constantly complain about things YOU CANNOT CHANGE!

What can you complain about, you ask?

Here's a list of things I'll gladly listen to you, nagging:
1. Dobby's death (J.K. Rowling, I'm still not over it!)
2. HIMYM season 9 (I understand, and you are right)
3. That plastic ring they've made to keep the plastic cup on the bottle when you open it but you never manage to open it properly and you drink like you had a stroke and an aneurysm whilst you try to unsolve the riddle of how the hell does this work and you end up curling your lips and drink like a chimp drinking water from a bottle.
4. War! What is it good for? absolutely nothing!
5. My sense of humor. I get it, it's not for everyone...
6. This list.

You get my point, and this is not even about me.
This is about you, accepting what you cannot change, and moving on with your life!

Here's a free therapy lesson for you: Practice acceptance, embrace the natural force of things, and teach yourself to be grateful to be a part of this continuity.
Because, my dear friend, it's not given, it's a privilege!
